YOUR PRIVACY ACCORDING TO THE GDPR LAW
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is applicable from 25 May 2018.
That means that from that date the same privacy legislation applies throughout the European Union (EU).
For a smooth running of various activities, as described below, it is necessary that I start a file. According to the Dutch Data Protection Authority, this is required by law. Your file contains your data, such as first and last name, e-mail, city, country and if you have done an activity with me. I do my utmost to guarantee your privacy.
The laws of the consumer’s country of residence are always valid.

Article 2: Below you will find an overview of the personal data that MerkabaLight processes
● First and last name
● City and country
● Phone number
● E-mail address
● Information about your activities on our website, such as ordering access to the Master Your Energy video series and the newsletter
● Bank account number
Article 3: This means, among other things, that MerkabaLight
● handles your data carefully,
● ensures that unauthorized persons do not have access to your data.
Article 4: For what purpose and on what basis we process personal data
MerkabaLight processes your personal data for the following purposes:
● Registering for a workshop, and / or
● Registering for the newsletter, and / or
● To offer you the option to send me a message via a form on my website, and / or
● To access the videos of the Master Your Energy video series, and / or
● To conduct a personal Insight and Clearance Session, and / or
● To be able to contact you by telephone or via Whatsapp, and / or
● To send you a (VAT) invoice.
We process this data because you have given permission for this or because it is necessary for the execution of the agreement.
Article 5: Right of withdrawal / dissolution
In the case of delivery of digital content that is not supplied on a tangible medium, the consumer has NO right to withdrawal / dissolution. Prior to fulfillment, the consumer explicitly waives his right to dissolution.
Article 6: MerkabaLight has taken the following measures to protect your personal data
● Security software, such as a virus scanner and firewall.
● internet connection.
You can see this at the address bar ‘https’ and the padlock in the address bar.
● SPF and DMARC are two internet standards that we use to prevent you from receiving e-mails on our behalf that contain viruses, are spam or are intended to obtain personal (login) data.
● DNSSEC is an extra security (in addition to DNS) for converting a domain name (# merkabalight.com) to the associated IP address (server name); it is provided with a digital signature.
You can have that signature checked automatically.
That way we prevent you from being redirected to a false IP address.
MerkabaLight takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorized changes. If you feel that your data is not properly secured or there are indications of abuse, please contact johanna@merkabalight.com.
No one outside of myself has access to your data. I have never entrusted your personal data to third parties, and I will not do that in the future.
Article 7: How long we keep personal data
MerkabaLight does not store your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We use the following retention periods for the following categories of personal data:
● Transaction data: 7 years.
● Newsletter: as long as you are subscribed to the newsletter.
● Services: up to 5 years after the termination of the services.
Article 8: Sharing personal data with third parties
In principle, MerkabaLight does not provide personal data to third parties.
If this is necessary for the execution of our agreement, ML will first contact you to ask for your permission, and to comply with the legal obligation.
Article 9: Cookies, or comparable techniques, that we use
MerkabaLight does use functional cookies, but no analytical or marketing cookies or similar techniques.
Article 10: Your rights
You can send a request for access, correction, deletion, data transfer of your personal data or request for cancellation of your consent or objection to the processing of your personal data to: johanna@merkabalight.com. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID with the request.

In this copy of your passport or driver’s license, make the MRZ (Machine Readable Zone) – the strip with numbers at the bottom of the passport -, your passport number and Citizen Service Number (CSN) BLACK. This is to protect your privacy.
We will respond to your request as soon as possible, but certainly within four weeks.
